Register now! The 2010 Annual Meeting is in Fort Worth on June 10-11 at the Fort Worth Convention Center and Omni Fort Worth Hotel. In honor of the judiciary, all judges receive FREE registration for Friday’s events.
Friday’s Bench Bar Breakfast is held in honor of all Texas judges and will feature Fort Worth native and former U.S. Secretary of the Army Pete Geren. Following the breakfast, the Annual Meeting has scheduled Jeffrey J. Rachlinski and Judge Andrew Wistrich to provide an inside look at judicial reasoning and influences on judicial decision making.
Other Annual Meeting highlights include keynote addresses by author of The End of Lawyers? Rethinking the Nature of Legal Services Richard Susskind, NFL referee Walt Coleman, and legal analysts Roger Cossack and Jeffrey Toobin. State Bar Sections will provide Section-specific CLE tracks as well as joint programs including the Atticus Finch and Ethics track, Diversity Forum, Managing Your Law Practice CLE, and updates on various legal topics. Another special event includes a panel discussion with General Counsels including Cheryl Turner (Darling Homes), Jeffrey Carr (FMC Technologies), Catherine Morse (Samsung Austin Semiconductor), Joel R. “Jody” Styles (Regions Insurance), and Elaine Whitbeck (Alcon).
